Events in Nottingham From 7th September – 13th September 2026

As the new week unfolds, you’ll find a varied selection of events in Nottingham, primarily focused on evening entertainment and social gatherings. If you’re looking to connect with others, opportunities range from singles nights tailored to different age groups to open jam sessions. Consider an evening at Stealth, known for its live music, or one of the many pubs in the Lace Market offering social gatherings. These offer ways to meet new people or enjoy a creative outlet. Beyond the social scene, the city’s music scene offers a steady rhythm through the week. You can catch live bands performing at venues such as Rock City, or immerse yourself in DJ nights featuring genres from indie to garage and basslines. Regular evening sessions are dedicated to specific musical styles; for example, Stealth hosts bass and electronic music, while The Bodega frequently features alternative acts. There is also an outdoor festival designed for a slightly older crowd at Colwick Park towards the weekend, offering a different daytime atmosphere. Public transport options, including the Nottingham Express Transit tram system and bus services, provide access to these locations. For those interested in sport, a significant football fixture awaits as Nottingham Forest plays a league match at Nottingham Forest Youth Academy. This provides an experience for supporters, bringing a different kind of energy to the weekend. Alternatively, you may find amateur games in the many parks and recreational grounds around the city. Whether your preference is for a lively evening of music, a chance to socialise, or a day out supporting local sport, you have options to shape your week.
